For holding threads according to DIN 8140-2, tolerance class 5H. Spiral flutes; 45° right-hand spiral; rake angle 15°; 2-lead chamfer. For aluminium casting alloys with a very low content of Si (≤ 2 %). For aluminium wrought alloys with a strength of up to 500 N/mm². Standard HELICOIL® taps produce holding threads of tolerance class 5H (6H mod). Fitting the HELICOIL® produces an ISO thread of tolerance class 6H.
